Legitimate question.  Obvious Bill gave one of the best convention speeches of all time in 2012, and could almost certainly lay out a compelling and memorable case for Hillary's candidacy given the right motivation.  But he's been off his game throughout the campaign, and more importantly, if he does give a good speech, he'll overshadow Hillary.  Michelle could appeal to women and black voters, but the inside scoop is that she's never forgiven Hillary for fighting dirty in 2008.  Also, her speeches in the past were mostly about Barack and how great he was, it's a little harder for her to stand on her own and make a case for something because her persona outside of being Barack's wife is pretty thin.

Michelle Obama will make a speech to introduce her husband. This way she could still talk about him. Most members of the Democratic Party love Obama more than they do the Clintons.

Bill Clinton will probably introduce his wife with a good speech. He will talk her up but will give her enough space to shine herself.

No doubt Biden will get his moment as well.

They really should consider grounding Bill for the duration of the DNC.

Bill will most certainly give a speech. If he didn't, it'd be all over the news media the following day and that would overshadow anything Hillary says in her speech or anyone else, for that matter.

Michelle may do a brief five-minute introductory speech for her husband, but I don't see her speaking around the average 15-20 minutes. I was going to say, I don't think she's fond of Hillary (and vice versa) because of 2008. I still remember when Michelle took the cheap shot about "someone who couldn't keep her own house in order," or something along those lines.

No! Obviously, JANE SANDERS will make a speech at the convention, purging the Democrats of known right-wing corporatists Obama and $hillary KKKillton!

Yes to both, with Bill more likely than Michelle.

Yes, though Michelle might not get as much of a prime speaking slot.

I hope Bill does more than an intro. I really hope he gives a speech like he did in 2012:
