Senator Blair, I have never resigned from this position, and I have served consistently since April. The needing of an Emergency Election Administrator was due to the coinciding of my vacation and the federal elections, which at the time I took the position, was not a thought on my horizon (for the fact that the elections were one week later than they were previously.) I am extremely sorry for this, but I would remind everyone of the fact that we are only human, and we all take vacations, sometimes at inopportune times. And sometimes family comes first. And sometimes, the wifi in your hotel is sh[inks]tty.

Senator Tmth, I see three main roles for the SoFE. Firstly, the holder administers federal elections and referenda as needed. Secondly, the holder should be someone who is knowledgeable about election laws and is willing to serve as an expert and forum for those who wish to know more about election laws in Atlasia. Thirdly, the holder should be an innovator, someone who wants to improve the election system, make it fairer, and wants to work together with the Legislature to do so.
