Option 2.
I strongly support BLM, they serve a wonderful role in making overzealous police unaccountable. But parts of it are too radical and overzealous.
The events of Dallas have, in no way whatsoever, changed this reality.

HP on balance. They raise some valid grievances, but their tactics and organization are not constructive.

They should focus more on gang violence, something that claims far more black lives than police brutality (which is also an issue). We need to see mass demonstrations for the victims of gang warfare.

This poll's unorthodox format is bringing unusual results...

Have the events in Dallas only made more people on here approve of BLM somehow?

Come on, PiT, don't fall into that stupid trap argument. What change do you want to come out of this? Is more policing an easy argument for them to make?

Not an expert, but as far as I know BLM has never really done anything genuinely violent, just been a little "unruly". I don't think there's anything "wrong" with their tactics in a moral sense, they just don't seem effective in that I can't see anyone who doesn't already agree with them getting their mind changed by what they're doing. So basically it just amounts to a public tantrum.

The Dallas shooting has nothing to do with this, their leadership denounced it. It's like blaming mainstream social conservatives if someone blows up an abortion clinic or shoots up a gay bar.

I might have one or two quibbles with them if I looked hard enough, but I agree with enough of their tactics to vote Option 1.

Basically FFs. I fully support equal rights for all I also acknowledge that something must be done about police violence against people (especially blacks). I'm strongly in favor of law and order, but too often the police's actions against blacks are totally inappropriate.

However, there are some really bad apples among them. Fighting the police with violence and riots are unacceptable. Just like attacking TRUMP supporters and interrupt TRUMP rallies.

Option 2. I think it is a good cause and I definitely believe that #BlackLivesMatter. Like similar movements, there are some radicals within it that gives it a bad perception, and I also think they could readjust their focus a little. If they start advocating for violence of any sort, I'd go to Option 3.
