No. The childhood and teenage years of being gay, lesbian, or transgender are not fun. It's not fun to live in a world where you're all alone, "different", and bullied and harassed by other kids because you're not like them - which is how you feel if you live in a small town like I did...
I would have never chosen this life. You're born this way. And a great many people have taken their lives because it can be a very sad existence.
