The February 1 Iowa Republican caucuses results were pretty close between Ted Cruz (27,6 %), Donald Trump (24,3 %) and Marco Rubio (23,1 %). What would the 2016 GOP primaries have looked like if Marco Rubio won the Iowa Republican caucuses?

Rubio might very well be the nominee today. He's still likely to lose NH, but is possibly able to ride out a defeat in the Granite State only to best Trump in South Carolina thereby driving him from the race.

No change. Rubio may have won VA, but that's it.

Rubio was a lightweight who wouldn't have been able to use momentum to carry himself much farther than he did. The only time during his campaign that I came to have a liking for him was towards the end when he was clearly physically deteriorating from the impending loss in his home state and you could sense a quiet maturity in his eyes gained from this knowledge of imminent doom.
