I've never been to NH, so I can't say for sure, but I enjoyed RI.

NH is a disgusting hellhole, so RI.

Have you ever even been there?

Southeast NH from Nashua to Manchester to Portsmouth isn't that rural. It's a mix of small older towns, older suburbs, and exurban fill in. It's quite a nice area and at an hour to an hour and a half from central Boston, it's not unlike living in the built-up fringe of other major cities.

I've already lived in both. Given the fact that NH is the Alabama of the north, I'd go with RI.

Not a masochist, so no.

(However, I agree that NH-01 is generally a pretty nice area.)

Then how do you know it's a hell hole?

Why would you want to live in an unincorporated suburb of Boston?

To be fair, that eliminates NH south of 202 and East of 93 too, but NH is still BY FAR the better option.

Clean air and free people. I love it here.

I found Keane NH a particularly charming town. No, I am not moving there. I have ties elsewhere. Smiley

Ah, yes. Keene, NH. The hometown of the living legend himself, Darryl W. Perry.

I thought Alabama of the North was Indiana.

Not that I agree with him, but by that measure none of us can say Somalia or ISIS controlled Syria is a hellhole because we've never personally been there.

Ehhhh, the Free Staters are mostly a sideshow. Keene is hippie-town, however.

NH is a disgusting hellhole, so RI.

Kid, what the hell is wrong with you?  Did you get your ass kicked by a chick from New Hampshire when you were little or something?  Did a Hampsherite turn you down for the Winter Ball or something?

Anyway, easy New Hampshire vote here.  Yeah, Rhode Island is actually a scenic state in some places and Providence is a good place to smoke weed (particularly in that big ass mall parking lot), but housing is much cheaper in New Hampshire, it has more natural beauty and the people there seem a lot more relaxed than in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.  Also, housing is a lot cheaper.  Really, the only thing that is a major negative for NH are the horrible suburbanites and the lack of a commuter rail (which eastern Mass excels at).

RI has some nice spots, and NH has some downright s***holes, but NH has actual wilderness and ski-fields, so it wins.
