Eff if I know. There are undoubtedly some who would scoff at reactionaries such as myself if they knew how I viewed the world. It's my general opinion that apathism, which most seem to support to some extent or another, is turned off by people who openly care too much. I ain't gonna talk to some girl about my position on abortion while I'm at a restaurant or a party.

I'm not straight but I have lots of straight gfs and politics has never come up as an issue. It's the kind of issue where it's not a problem until you have to do something and those views become an obstacle. Abortion, perhaps, but that's not really a guaranteed deal-breaker, either. Now, if you're on a 1st or 2nd date and you begin laying out all your political views and encouraging an argument/debate, then yeah, you're probably going to blow it lol.

Of course, I'm sure lots of ideological women out there would have some real gripes if your views are significantly different. I may or may not fall into that category. Dunno yet. Has not come up very often.

I just don't like to make my politics public among my friends who aren't really close. The only thing people really ever find out is if they see me at the Republican caucus, haha.

When people've tried to guess my politics, it's ranged from conservative to libertarian to socialist (though most seem smart enough to assume the first of the three). Tongue
