I think this is pretty standard for when a president visits a tragedy site, but i would not have expected Ter Cruz of all people to join President Obama. Bush 43 will be there as well.

People of different ideologies come together when tragedy strikes. Not surprising. Just because you disagree with someone doesn't mean you can't be civil with them and share their loss.

If there is a photo of them emerging from Air Force One together looking anything resembling genial, it will be used against him by someone in the 2020 primary.
