Also, the capital of the Mideast was Peter's Park (formerly College Park) in Maryland, not Chicago.

Pittsburgh.  It's fairly centrally located and large enough to be a capital.  If not Pittsburgh, then Columbus, Ohio.

I believe New York City already has a very modern and functional capital region in place, and I think, although not sure, that millions have been spent in revising this region, so NYC is probably the best choice overall.

anyways, yeah, i'd support a more central location. detroit, erie, or anywhere in ohio. detroit has the, let's call it an advantage, of having plenty of available space Tongue
