I notice that there has been a huge call for electoral reform, even more than usual. I wonder why this is?

1) Because there is a genuine crisis in Atlasia.

2) Because people like to play follow-the-leader and make coalitions for no apparent reason.

Ironically, the first coalition to (re)appear was actually the one that was calling for things to stay the way they are.

I believe the crisis itself, like most other crisises in Atlasia, has been overblown.

The election system is non-monotonic (i.e. it can hurt your candidate to vote for themas first preference) in a situation like this and thus I think it has to change. At lease in approval voting it can never hurt your candidate to vote for him.

Well I started the second one, which I think did result in the third, forth and so on. And I did have at least one supporter before officially starting it.
