If Trump picks Rubio as VP, the coattails will be so big that they will cause every island in the Caribbean to join the US and vote for Trump.

Pence as running mate will lock up the Reagan Democrats in western Pennsylvania.  He might cause a slight effect on Trump's Vegas casino connections as well.  Furthermore, Bradley effect.
