1.Mike Pence selected as Rapist Trump's Vice Presidential running-mate.

2.Pence drops his reelection bid for Indiana Governor.

3.Apparently Pence's Lieutenant Governor nominee, Eric Holcomb, is not guaranteed to become the nominee for governor (former Governor Mitch Daniels just said he had no interest in being the Republican nominee for Governor.)

4.Evan Bayh is now the Democratic candidate for the U.S Senate.

5.Any chance U.S Representative Todd Young drops his bid for the U.S Senate and runs for Governor instead?

That may be a good idea, then the GOP can hopefully get Mitch Daniels to take on Bayh. Daniels would do better against Bayh, I think.

Daniels won't run for any office this year. Honestly I think Holcomb would beat Gregg. Gregg's whole campaign thus far is "I am not mike Pence". Indiana is a republican state, Pence is tied with Gregg in the polls or slightly ahead and he is pretty unpopular. A generic R would do better. Also Todd Young will almost surely stay in the senate race.

Yeah, Pence was vulnerable.  If Trump picks Pence as his running mate, then the GOP's prospects in the Governor's race improve significantly.

I don't think so. He has already won the nomination for Senate, and two Reps (Brooks and Rokita) have already made moves to run for Governor instead of for re-election.
