SJW or not, having sex with someone far younger and more impressionable than you, and who clearly values you a lot more than you value them, means you see them as an object rather than a person. And yes, the fact that the former is generally a man and the latter generally a woman does make things worse. Not recognizing this means making the same mistake "colorblind" people do when talking about race.

Who says the girls are far younger and more impressionable? it's not like we're talking about teenage fans of boy bands here. Whenever this happens both parties are almost always over 21. I'd be surprised if many half plus 7 violations occur.

I wasn't thinking of age as the primary issue, though an age disparity can make things a lot worse. Mainly, the point is that the emotional dynamic between a (male) singer and a (female) fan is bound to be asymmetrical.
