"Alternative party" i.e. the party that says no all the time without proposing anything substantial.

You clearly haven't been paying attention then

I've been listening all day. I haven't heard anything of substance, because Donald Trump's campaign has no substance.

This.

Ryan is giving a tough speech. Some points he is right on. A lot of people are trapped in poverty and welfare mentality. It's not right for America. It's shameful and disgusting.

Why are there so many empty seats?

Is this normal? I don't remember seeing that many empty seats in the past?

Are people not there because they fear for their safety due to the recent terror attacks?

Did they forget to tarp over the seats or something?

Voting for delegates is over. Many states have delegate receptions that are starting up. I'll be heading to one myself in about a half hour.

Thank you! I've been trying to figure it out. I know if I had the chance to be at a convention, I'd want to hear every speech. I didn't know they had receptions and things going on during the speeches.

Fantastic moment, when the GOP congress-critter on stage now said "are we going to stay on the path we're on now" ... the Dow at 18,500 and scrolled past underneath him, lol

And some delegates do stay all the way. Especially first-timers. But many delegates use these receptions for networking in advance of the election.

Did the delegates feel the ground shake as Christie walked up?

Even if you think Hillary is guilty of some wrongdoing, there's something very unsettling about a crowd screaming "lock her up." This is sickening.

No, but there are probably some senior Republicans looking for some substances right now to help them get through this. LSD, methamphetamine, bath salts, potassium cyanide...

Thanks for all your great ideas tonight on how you're going to get America back to work again, GOP.  It's been quite enlightening.

Christie's prosecutor act suggests to me that he was kind of a crap prosecutor. I know this is all pageantry and stuff, but dang, if I was on a jury and the prosecution was making arguments like this I would be hard pressed to believe any argument they made even if there was truth to it.

Unfortunately, many, many people do. I agree that Christie's on fire. Well, his pants are, anyway.

Assata Shakur. The same Assata Shakur that BLM loves and praises.

"Assata taught me".

Pro tip, "Okanagan" means Tree on my Head (think about it for a second)

I guess it was good enough to Ivanka's father-in-law tossed into jail.

I expect Christie's prosecution speech ends with the burning of a Hillary effigy.
