Ryan is giving a tough speech. Some points he is right on. A lot of people are trapped in poverty and welfare mentality. It's not right for America. It's shameful and disgusting.

Thank you! I've been trying to figure it out. I know if I had the chance to be at a convention, I'd want to hear every speech. I didn't know they had receptions and things going on during the speeches.

And some delegates do stay all the way. Especially first-timers. But many delegates use these receptions for networking in advance of the election.

Christie's prosecutor act suggests to me that he was kind of a crap prosecutor. I know this is all pageantry and stuff, but dang, if I was on a jury and the prosecution was making arguments like this I would be hard pressed to believe any argument they made even if there was truth to it.
