Trump Jr. looks like a cartoon character of an arrogant rich kid. That look on his face when he pauses between sentences... That's the "rich kids of instagram" look.

Like Trump would actually do any of that. It's going to be funny if he does win and starts governing as a liberal.

Trump Jr. made a decent speech. We'll see how it plays.

I don't think they are running long. If anything, they are running early tonight. It's just Capito, Carson and Kimberlyn Brown left.

Why did the Utah delegation vote Drumpf?

They didn't, I think the RNC changed it to all Trump because under the rules in some states if a candidate with a suspended campaign got delegates then its invalid, meaning it would have to go to the only active campaign (Trump)

Trump likes to vary his attention-grabbing cries, so I don't think he inserted anything tonight.

I expect it from an intellectually bankrupt party like the GOP.

I'd expect the same from the Democrats next week. Political rhetoric gets recycled. News at 11.

Is "OVER THE TOP!" the tagline of this convention?  Legit question; I haven't been watching because I value my IQ.

This definitely is the "BUT HILLARY" day, since I've heard nothing but fluff so far about why Trump is so great, or how he'll actually handle the presidency.

So far, Donald Trump Jr. was the only truly effective speech tonight. At least for my tastes.

It's a tradition to show that banner when the nominee crosses 1237 in the roll call. The same banner, with different coloring, was used for Romney.

Ben Carson has either a good microphone or a good speech coach. The calmness that he had in debates is largely gone.
