It's becoming more likely that Trump gets a negative bounce from his convention at this rate

One really starts to wonder if this might be the case....

I recall reading somewhere earlier today that~50% of Cruz supporters are currently strongly considering not voting for Trump in November.

Will the Wednesday Night Cruz speech be a defining moment in terms of Republican unity versus greater division?
Or it might be more like, when Cruz swiped delegates in Colorado. According to exit polls (if I am not mistaken) majority of voters agreed with Trump that it was "unfair".

My question is why didn't they just count all the votes as they were cast? Trump was going to win anyway and it improves chances for party unity on their side

It won't matter, but Alaska definitely got screwed.
If Trump wins, he'll sell it back to Russia /:

My sense is that the Trump campaign is more interested in tracking with what will play best, rather than stay locked on a consistent schedule. It seems they concluded that the negative speeches against Hillary would work better for them than the original pro-jobs message. They left a few of the original message speeches in, but those seemed to be from speakers who were non-politicians who only fit that message. They also get a bit of both worlds this way as casual observers might read there was an evening about jobs, but would hear the attack message.
They want to unify the party.
And it seems, that the only thing that unifies them is hating Hillary /:

Rubio's "speech" will be an 85 second video message - MSNBC.

I'm impressed, I thought 25 seconds was all Rubio could handle.
He needs also some time to drink water during the speech...

But Trump knew, it was coming, didn't he? Prepared remarks... Hm. When did RNC-staff/journalists receive those remarks?

I just don't buy, that Trump just hoped, that Cruz'd change his mind and endorse him despite the remarks. Might it be Trumps plan all along? Too complicated in that case  /:

Trump speech tonight has been leaked before he reads it:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-speech-full-text_us_5791547ae4b0bdddc4d3ea99?uvkz0homss9d4pldi

anyone think this will be a thing mentioned in the media or will no one notice?

I am honestly shocked that this is not being talked about in the media. This speech did not just "leak" ... it was leaked by an insider to a Democratic superpac.

It makes you wonder...
Trump?

I do not think so. But the source did say it was leaked by a "legitimate" Republican, according to Politico.

Trump is a Democratic plant.

Is anyone else worried that Trump's speech may seal a win for him?

No.
You can not seal, what is already sealed? Cheesy

I'm sure if Trump delivers a coherent speech, Atlas will have one of its bipolar freak-outs about it.

Ann Coulter would probably argue that if Trump gives a coherent speech, his base will freak out and leave him for a more insane candidate.
Whaaaaat?!
