I could point point out all the ways African and Asian cultures have contributed to society (civil service exams, astronomy, paper, gunpowder, universities, porcelain, Arabic numerals, decimal system, the concept of zero, c-sections, vaccinations, calligraphy, Islamic empires preserved the works of Greece and Rome, algebra, calculating Earth's circumference, categorizing diseases, standardized weights and measures, licenses for doctors, to name a few), but there are a lot. I will point out that the richest (monetarily) man who ever lived was a black Muslim, though.
