So a couple months ago I made a station called "Melodic Hardcore". Seeded by bands such as Counterparts, Hundredth, The Ghost Inside, Worthwhile, Saints Never Surrender, Set Free, Misery Signals, The Color Morale, etc. So for awhile it played...melodic hardcore. And I liked various songs. Eventually it started playing bands I liked that were not like those other bands, like Taking Back Sunday and The Wonder Years. But hey great. I liked those songs so Pandora would keep playing them.

Well several months later it's now played...Stacey's Mom. Also plays lots of Green Day, Blink-182 and Nirvana.

So uh, how exactly does Pandora's algorithm work for this? Because it's really quite incredible.
