Clinton 274
Trumpence 264

North Carolina is called for Clinton at 7 AM, with a margin of victory under 5000.

Such a result might be enough to make me a Duke fan.

There would be a recount and the process would essentially be 2000 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Just won't happen. Florida is not going to be more Republican than North Carolina. The same demographics that would swing enough for Trump to win Florida are present in greater numbers in North Carolina. I suppose the only scenario would be Clinton winning the Black vote something like 97-1 with high turnout and Cubans sticking with Trump for some reason. That is unlikely.

I'd be shocked that PA and IA ended up more Republican than NC, but my initial reaction would be "whew!"

A sigh of relief and then horror that it wound up that close. I'd probably end up babbling about it at school that day to anyone who would listen.
