You've come a long way since Co-Governor Wink

Lol, no kidding.

I'll probably only invoke the veto a handful of times during my term, the Senate should be free to act.

Congratulations Seige. I'm quite glad the left managed to pull of a victory this time as well.

You know, I don't get it.  The Senate continues to get more conservative (with MAS117 gone, I'm now the most liberal member of the Senate), but someone who was arguably the most liberal candidate in the Presidential election managed to win.

Nonetheless, I am happy that one of my two favorite candidates managed to win. Smiley

Lack of willing candidates, plain and simple.

Its ridiculous that the Region that has legalised euthanasia and porn for 16 year olds, that has the FLP and ILP having 12 registered voters in the Region with a number of leftist independents against the FLP-CUP-Freedom-Lib combined vote of 6. No disrespect to MasterJedi, but we seemingly failed to put up a worthy candidate came election time after Texasgurl dropped out.

Certainly the Governor's mansions are presently a better bet for the left presently.

Congratulations to our new President.  If I were him, I'd take Harry Truman's advice and get a dog as my first act.

Cat's are cooler, it's not my problem that people disagree.

I just did some looking around, and 61.05% was the same percentage Johnson won by in 1964. Odd, huh?
