This is all par for the course for a (genuinely) Fascist movement. We should only expect an escalation of violence from these people as they struggle against an "illegitimate" President Joe Biden and are further enabled by an increasingly radicalized right-wing media and Republican Party. The defeat of Donald Trump isn't the end of this nightmare, it's only one chapter in the beginning.
