If he's unpopular. Otherwise he'd probably delegate a primary challenge to someone more low profile, like Catherine Hanaway or Ken Cuccinelli.

while this is a 'Trends' topic, I am leaving it here because it again raises the question over whether Cruz will endorse Trump in his speech or if he does how strongly he endorses.

Will Cruz even mention Trump by name in his speech?

We'll see, but I doubt it will matter. For the social conservatives you have Pence.

I wonder if Team Trump will have wished Ted spoke via video like Marco is doing. At least that you can control.

CNN is saying now he will not endorse Trump tonight.

This is why I'm really hyped for his speech tonight.

I hope Ted Cruz blasts Trump, and I hope Cruz primaries Trump in the small chance Trump is elected.

He's giving a major speech tonight and he pulls this stunt? If I'm Trump, I'd corner him and have a word with him.

LOL, what a loser. Rafael Eduardo desperately wants another crushing defeat against Big Don.

Because the media handed the GOP nomination to Trump overturning the will of the grassroots voters who supported the true Republican candidate Ted Cruz.

Pretty sure the voters supported Trump in a landslide.

The media gave Trump (like they have every establishment GOP candidate) ungodly air time they never give conservative candidates. Media influences votes in ways it should have no right to.

By that definition Ted Budd won a primary landslide too.

20% and ~6,000 votes = 45% and ~14,000,000 votes. Riiiiiight...

No. They gave trump air time because he generated views. I do agree that they normally give more air time to the establishment candidate, but this time around, it was strictly revenue. Trump ran against the establishment

Trump attacked the Tea Party. Cruz is a leader of the Tea Party. Hence Trump got the establishment air time Cruz didn't. It was t about revenue. It was about stopping conservatives.

*watches Cruz's convention speech*

I knew it! 2016 was merely the prequel to this story of horror.
