I guess while we're vaguely on the subject, could somebody also summarize this 'Gamergate' sh**tshow as well? I tried to understand it one time, but gave up after I felt my brain cells and soul decaying.

I actually also gave up on it at some point. But as far as I remember a woman created a game and was accused of having slept with game reviewers to get better reviews?
Then followed a shtstorm of misogyny, death threats, etc, etc.
I think the alt right are people who are fascists but not religious or something? But I haven't really gotten that one either.
