Mild FF. My opinion of him went down last night after it sunk in that while he was giving a speech about Washington politicians refusing to keep their promises, he was refusing to keep his own promise. He literally became Lyin' Ted. Given the bloody nature of the primary and the general stupidity of forcing candidates to endorse the party's nominee, I'd understand if he stayed home like Kasich or Bush or give a half-endorsement like Rubio, but he chose to grandstand at Trump's convention instead.

Lots of baseless hate in this thread. But it doesn't matter, History will do him justice.

I still don't like Cruz's foreign policy or social views enough to really want him to be president, but my respect for him has gone up massively after recent events. I badly misjudged him earlier, I would have thought he would have been one of the first ones to fall in line behind Trump, whereas I expected more of the other candidates like Rubio and Rand Paul, and of the leadership in Congress. Cruz is at least an honest guy who has balls, even if he's a little nutty on certain things.

The worst and most horrific piece of sh*t candidate. Anti-Worker, homophobic piece of sh*t, with no redeeming policies. A villainous snake. TRUMP has appeal and good candidates, Cruz is just a candidate for some toff upper-class republicans, and christian upper-middle class folks in their glassed houses. A liar, cheat and traitor, should honestly be annihilated from the earth. I'd rather have TRUMP dictator for life, then Cruz anywhere near the presidency. Words cannot explain how much I despise this horrific excuse for a human being. HUGE HP. 0/10.

Massive HP.

In terms of policy, especially social issues, he's even worse than Drumpf if that's possible. He's right-wing ideologue without the ability to compromise. Even most GOP senators dislike that dude.

This. I too was #NeverCruz during the primaries.  HP.

He is still amazing and would be a far better president than our nominee, but I strongly disagree with not supporting the nominee.  A vote for anyone other than Trump is half a vote for Hillary Clinton.

Still HP.

Despite he's not supporting Trump (I appreciate that), he's still a liar and as said by MohamedChalid, he's an extreme right-wing ideologue without the ability to compromise. He'd be a disaster as presidential nominee.

Still an HP, he just had a good moment because somebody who seems just as bad offended him and he got him right back.
