A-

This was by far the best night of the RNC. Donald Trump, Ivanka, Barrack, and Thiel all gave wonderful speeches. The other nights were absolute disasters.

Best night.

And while there was a lot of bad in his speech... he got the GOP to wildly cheer for LGBTQ people, and then even went off-script with it and even more applause.

A-. Barrack's rambling and the bathroom comment from Thiel shouldn't have been done, but everything else was beautiful. I'm not voting for this party at the top of the ticket (downticket is a different question), but I have to hand it to them on making tonight great.

B+ The only thing that stops it from getting an A is that Trump's speech was way too long.

The entire convention was a huge F, yet a lot of people are already declaring Trump an easy general election winner because the convention was so AMAZING. Silliness.

I actually really liked Peter Thiel's speech, didn't get to hear Ivanka's unfortunatley, and Trump did pretty well if overboard in length.

You missed the best speech of the night, dude. I HIGHLY recommend watching Ivanka's speech online. She gave the best speech tonight by far, and it's not even close.

Best of the week, though I'd put it at a B/B-. Ivanka was definitely the best, and Trump's... delivery was pretty good. I'll leave my personal feelings about the content out of this.

And "a lot of people," especially on here are already declaring Hillary! an easy general election winner right now. And by the time next Thursday rolls around, you will see that in spades on this forum and from Democrats.

That's what conventions are supposed to do. Ramp up the enthusiasm.

Ivanka was the best. Totally as a future (probably as a Democrat), but really great.

Trump had a decent speech, but it was really really dark and went on way too long.

Best night of the convention. I'm going with a B-.

Mainly due to Trump's speech going way too long.

This. There will probably be people at the DNC who can speak better than Ivanka or Donald, but Hillary won't be one of them. Ivanka was polished and professional and Donald gave about the best speech he could have given. It wasn't perfect (I still think Bill at the 2012 DNC was better) but they did about as well as they were able to.

I'm inclined to agree. But I have to say, I thought Peter Thiel and Ivanka Trump hit it out of the park.

Can't wait to see how the DNC unfolds; it's gonna be an interesting rest of the summer...

A+. Ivanka was amazing and genuine. Although I'm a social conservative I respected Thiel's speech. Trump's acceptance speech was brilliant and was so powerful.

Huh, interesting
NY's messed up election laws. For a smaller party like Reform, they could write in whomever they want. She won 2-1-1-1. I don't think she's actively running or anything.
