My girlfriend put it perfectly, Tim Kaine is unsalted butter to Hillary's Wonder Bread.

That said, the only other comment I have from the other thread is that if what Zeleny said is true and the campaign seriously thinks Tim Kaine is what the future of the Democratic Party looks like, I'm seriously wondering where the campaign's been the past two years.

He's a white male. You need a white male if a minority will be on the Democratic Party ticket in the 2020s. You can't have an all black or all Latino Democratic ticket.

True. If you ask the average voter on the street what the TPP means, they'll think it's a sports team or something. Only well versed people know what TPP means. Trans Pacific Partnership.

Some minorities on Twitter are vexed because he's a "bland white male". They want a African American or a Latino. I don't know if Americans care or not. We had President Obama in 2008 and 2012.
