This was quite the snub to the Bernie people... This election will be about moderates vs batsh**t crazy.

I think I wont vote for president.

Why?  You don't agree with some here that Elizabeth Warren can do the most good by remaining in the Senate, pushing her causes in the chamber and holding the Clinton administration's feet to the fire in the process?

Happy with it. Two intelligent, policy-oriented, responsible politicians.

Clinton didn't need to pick a walking bottle of Nyquil to project stability.

Oh for heaven's sake.  Politics aren't supposed to be entertainment.  Tim Kaine is a serious, progressive and compelling choice who is absolutely qualified to be President.

You want an "exciting" VP choice?  Then pick Sarah Palin.  But leave the Democrats out of it.

Oh please. Despite how much it offends the senses of policy wonks and other assorted political junkies, campaigns are won and lost on the enthusiasm of rubes and low info voters. Tim Kaine brings nothing to the table in that respect.

LOL at the idea of anyone more electrifying than Tim freaking Kaine being comparable to Sarah Palin.

You don't think his ability to speak Spanish and talk on Univision directly to Spanish voters won't have an impact on low information Spanish voters?

Clinton is already running away with low info hispanics, very little room for improvement there. Who is Kaine going to turnout that was previously hesitant to vote for Hillary? The 12 people who voted for Jim Webb?

It will be interesting to see where Kaine ends up campaigning. I'm thinking he'll hang out in the Big 10 states, to help reassure on the fence white voters that they have a home in the Democratic Party, not just the GOP.  A good choice by Clinton I think.

It's an "OK" ticket.

I'm not enthusiastic about it, but I'd vote for it for example if I were living in CO and Kaine's presence and Obama/Biden/Sanders' campaigning will be enough to drag Hillary into the White House.

Kaine is not a communist, so it's basically the best ticket she could've gotten away with.

Go back to the 1950s

The beer would have been more justfiable than the 6 pack of club soda she actually selected.

Oh, OK.  I guess Trump really knocked that one out of the park by picking an empty suit and failed governor from a flyover state.

Yeah, Hilldog should have picked Goofy Elizabeth Warren. She would have been a better target for Big Don.

Least bad ticket the Democrats could have produced except for one involving Jim Webb, which obviously was never going to happen. FF.

Trump didn't need help generating enthusiasm with low info voters, he needed pearl clutching DC Republicans to STFU and get in line. To that degree, Pence was a decent choice.

Clinton needed something different entirely; help convincing ordinary people that she can relate to them despite her reputation as an emotionally numb sociopath. So why not pick someone completely devoid of personality from the swing state you are least likely to lose?

FT. Glad she didn't go Warren, but a little disappointed she didn't go with a couple others.
