I was sort of lukewarmly positive about him before this speech, but he's really knocking this out of the park. Feeling very enthusiastic now, what a great guy.

Kaine's the real deal. He's not as boring as people were saying he was (though he's not Mr. High Energy), but he's legit.

"You're fired"/"You're hired" is a great line. He should keep it.

How is he moderate? He's laying out debt free college and multiple Sanders positions. He might be a good speaker but that's because he's speaking from a TelePrompTer.

Wow, Kaine just convinced me to break open my wallet, go to the Hillary site, and finally sign up for a recurring donation.

I agree with the people saying that if we could place Kaine at the top of this ticket, it would be over lol.

No I'm just stating the facts, he doesn't sound like a moderate democrat he sounds like a liberal democrat and far to the left on some issues.

You could tell he was going off prompter a lot.

But as usual the GOP's biggest enemy is the TelePrompTer.

Massive freedom ticket now. Kaine is WAY better than anyone thought. Brilliant low sell move by Hillary when she convinced the media that Kaine is boring

Damn, I coincidentally watched Kaine's speech on CNN and it was A+ !

And Hillary at the back was just like "Why is this guy so damn cool and down-to-earth and I'm not" ?

Hopefully he can give the same speech at the convention.

So Atlas goes from "Kaine is such a boring pick" to "He would have won in a landslide had he been the nominee and not Hillary" after ONE SPEECH?!

lol

lol, as you can see us Dems are easily swayed.

Seriously though, I never understood why some Dems were against Kaine, but then again I am biased since he is my senator.

That was arguably the best speech any candidate has given this entire campaign. Wow!

His moderate status was overstated I think.

This was a introduction for a lot of people. Kaine was a blank slate for most people before today.

He reminds me a little of Kasich, with his tone anyways. Does anyone else feel that way?

To be honest, I had never set down and listened to him speak before. I was basing my opinion solely on his background and voting record. I guess I should learn not to judge a book by its cover.

Same.

And may I say, he was even a little... charismatic?

Surprisingly strong from Kaine. Clinton did a good job of selling Kaine and he did a good job telling his life story and points for the Jesuits getting a shout out. Interestingly, probably the weakest part was when he went after Trump. With Pence and Kaine, it seems that the traditional job of the VP being the attack dog may not happen, its the other way around.

You can be sure all his asides in Spanish will lead Spanish language media (polls show half of Hispanic voters get their news at least partially from Spanish-language media)
