Washoe county is the second most populous county in Nevada and contains the city of Reno. It is often described as a "bellwether county" because it votes the same as the rest of the state. In 2012, Obama won it 51-47. Here is some demographic information.

As long as Clinton holds it somewhere close to the 50-50 range it's enough to carry the state since the rest of rural Nevada has nothing on Clark County.

Trump by a small margin--but this and the rural vote will not offset the big Clark County vote that Hillary gets to win Nevada.

Clinton, but this time I expect it to vote a little more Republican than the country because Clark should be strong for Clinton.

I could see it voting for Clinton, but still being somewhat more Republican than the country as a whole.
