That was probably what she wanted. It was a condition for her to resign, I suppose.

I'm in the tank for Hillary at this point, but its hard to argue with the old adage that the Clintons don't feel that the rules apply to them
What rules were broken?

The rules of public opinion.

Ok, so what.  No one will be talking about this, only about her resignation.  Who cares.

Yeah, people here don't seem to get this. DWS was not going to fall on her sword for free.

Does everyone forget when she was going to accuse Obama of being a misogynist and anti-semite if he tried to push her out? I mean, I guess that wouldn't work this time since it would be a woman and a Jew pushing her out, but her going out kicking and screaming (or even worse, trying to weather the storm) is the last thing the Democrats need right now.

She probably wanted a position in the administration as well as a condition for leaving.

DWS was a terrible DNC Chair and this fact got nothing to do with Hillary.

So she gets the political equivalent of a participation award?

This is pretty much the gold watch treatment

Good. While her stepping aside was necessary, the way that she's been ragged on by the media for years is disproportionate and ugly. I hope she gets re-elected by a big margin.

If DWS has faced sexism and anti-semitism from the press that press favorites like Obama don't experience, it still doesn't excuse her for being an odious human being.

GREAT news!  Newfound respect for Hillary because of this.  I'm glad to see she's not willing to throw good Americans under the bus just to please the marxist Bernie mobs.

Is that a rhetorical question?

You know, having spent a day outside in the real world it's oddly reassuring to come back to the Atlas and see 9 out of the first 10 posts in this thread are "ololol HRC did nothing wrong."

Opinion on the matter:
Ugh, why does Clinton have such a god damn tin ear for this sh**t.
