Yes, we know Donald. Sexual harassment of women by men is not a character flaw that bothers you much. Heck, in the good old days, such sexual harassment did not exist. It was just what men naturally did. If they didn't, they were probably gay.

If you believe the rumors, it was pretty much Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson against the rest of the Fox talent when it came to Ailes. The rumor was that if Ailes was let go, Hannity, Gretta, O'Reilly, etc. were ready to jump ship with him.

There's a reason he's still a consultant.

Hannity in particular, given his limited talents, would be crazy to quit the gravy train. Ditto for Gretta. And O'Reilly knows that his power and notoriety, and all the attention he gets, comes from his chair at Fox. Where else would he get all that? So unfortunately, none of them are going anywhere.

A great idea for Trump would be to do Campaign rallies with Roger Ailes,  it would be wonderful to rally his supporters.

Trump raised a good point-many of those who are accusing Ailes had praised him in their books. I saw Gretchen Carlson promoting her new book on C-SPAN at the Nixon Library, and she talked about how she has suffered sexual harassment from past employers yet she singled out Ailes for praise.

I have no doubt that Ailes is guilty (he wouldn't have resigned otherwise), but Trump is right to note that there hasn't been any conviction. All Trump said was that the Roger Ailes he knew wouldn't do this and that the allegations were a surprise. Nice try.

No,  you're completely smearing what he actually said...

Easy red meat for Hillary to throw to the Democratic base, gets to tie Trump to a sexual harraser  and gets to discredit Fox News.

I'm gradually finding myself aboard the "Trump is a Clinton plant" train. I mean, if his goal was: "be the worst plausible candidate with the worst plausible campaign" what would he have done differently?
