Coming off one of the closet elections in American history President George W Bush is hoping to win  a second term despite increasing opposition too the Iraq war and an polarized electorate. Unlike in 2000 the Democrats have a wide open and diverse field that is ready to go up against the President.  

Please post your announcement speech by July 28 in this thread this will serve as turn 1.
