Some of them won't like that.  The nilhilst members that were selected are going to throw a fit.

Like it or lump it.  If you support Sanders, you support Clinton.  The "Bernie Bros" are a very small, vocal minority.

I'd love to get Bernie.  We ain't getting Bernie.  Get over it.

Everyone on MSNBC this morning was saying it was insanity that she was going to stand up in front of that audience and take the mic.

Do we know if those booing supporters were just fans or delegates? Obviously, there is a difference.

I heard delegates. Someone mentioned that they were interpreting what Sanders was saying as vote for Clinton at the roll call and that's why they were booing him. I'm not sure I'd agree with that assesment but it would make sense.

Does anyone know at what time exactly Bernie will speak? I couldn't find it online.

I need to figure out if it's better for me to sleep late or wake up early.

I imagine the delegates inside the hall aren't like the fans outside the hall, but they are still Berners and this is probably their first DNC ever. If you are a delegate and especially the ones that arent on any of the committees, being on the floor is their only opportunity to get their voices heard.

Does Sanders have a whip operation on the floor and is it any good?  Does he want them to play nice? I guess we will find out.

According to the schedule on the CSPAN site, the primetime network hour (10-11pm) will be
Michelle Obama
Elizabeth Warren
Bernie Sanders

(in that order)

Will Michelle in any way address the Melania thing?  Maybe a joke about it?

From CNN: DWS will not be speaking today at all.

Someone should throw a bucket of water on her.

I believe that Corey Booker will also be speaking tonight, right before Michelle.

There's no good place to post this, but PPP will have an Ohio poll out in an hour or so, which they rate as a "6 on the anticipated Democratic freak out meter." However, when someone asked if that meant Trump leading by 5-8 points, they responded: " Haha if it was that I'd rate the anticipated Democratic freak out meter a lot higher than a 6". So it seems like their poll will most likely show a very slight Trump lead.

So probably a Trump lead within the MoE. Not all that concerning to me, given the timing.

Which, considering the fundamentals of the race, the convention bounce and the state in question, is a not unreasonable result

So why is this trend not as big as the RNC one was last week?

I believe the Republicans started earlier on Day 1, like around 1pm.

There seems to be more people there than the RNC and it hasn't even started yet.

Before we all freakout over what goes down at the convention:

Pew (7-25): 90% of respondents that consistently supported Sanders are going to vote for Clinton, 88% of respondents who have switched at least once are supporting Clinton

That really places the Trump supporters as those who are Republicans who were locked into the Democratic Primary (KY, WV, NC, LA, OK, etc).

Democrats have more delegates. Example: Florida RNC - 99 delegates / Florida RNC - 246 delegates.
