It feels like Sanders' party, not Clinton.

I mean, we're kinda going to be in control of the party in the next 10 or 20 years...

Yeah, and with that, skyrockets the national debt.

This sounds more like a concession speech than a battle cry for Clinton.

God if only Bernie were 20 years younger. Seeing him run in 8 years would be something.

Bernie in 1996. He still looks the same lol

Reading the end of his speech, I am wondering if Hillary is going to come out on stage with him.

That would be a huge, huge mistake.
She's gonna have to face them at some point. Can't hide forever.

That's annoying.

He's taking it to the roll call? I thought he was going to drop out on the floor and do an acclamation thing?

He still probably will be.
I wonder if he goes to the roll call just to placate his supporters. He can then say "we had a vote, we lost." Might be a better move IMO. He's still way, way, way behind Clinton. There is no way that she could lose. Why not do the full roll call and call it a race?

He's apparently going to formally suspend and do an acclamation thing at the end in lieu of just letting the chair announce the results like Priebus did, but every state is going to be allowed to cast its votes. He's not going to cut it off like Hillary did.

Word is full roll call vote, than he's going down to the floor for acclamation like Clinton did.

I've said for months that Ted Kennedy's speech at the 1980 DNC is a preview of Sanders' speech. 45 minutes of self-pity and two sentences about the actual winner.

True, but you have to keep an eye on Islam. You can't have a weak, baby-like hollow military either.

Why?  I think that would be a great thing.  Most of the assholes have probably been booted out now.

I mean, couldn't that also be a 'give DWS as little to do as possible' thing? Or has she been replaced in that capacity too? I've lost track.

So Bernie, what's the point of an education? To be a ward of the state, or to be SUCCESSFUL AND WEALTHY?

I think she's walking alone through Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International if she isn't watching at home from Parkland by now.

Yes Bernie, socialism works until you run out of money. He's a good man, but you can't hollow the military to achieve it.
