Early returns show the first night of the DNC gets higher ratings than the RNC. This doesn't include cable news though.

Fox News might very well tip the scales, I think.

This is total conjecture, but I imagine people who watch the big three networks are probably less likely to have made their minds up already than those who watch cable news, so it's better to have higher ratings there. Just a hunch.

Apparently Bill's speech tonight might be longer than an hour. This'll be good. Hopefully he plays the sax.

I hope he devotes a section to explicitly battling the claims of Berners.

He's the worst person other than maybe DWS for that job.

Agreed. That would backfire so badly. He should focus primarily on Hillary.

So if the 1924 DNC was the Klanbake, what is this one? I've been trying to come up with a catchy name, and I'm drawing a blank.

So does anyone know how this roll-call vote will work? She won't have a majority with pledged delegates alone, so will the superdelegates vote on the floor as well? Also what time is it happening?

The superdelegates vote whenever their state does. So the CA supers will vote at the same time as the CA pledgeds, and so on.

Take it with a grain of salt since it's Fox: Sanders will be in the family box, will NOT call off the roll call at any point. But Vermont, not Wyoming, will cast the last votes. The entire roll call will go through. McAuliffe will put Hillary's name in nomination. No Acclamation Motion.

ABC, NBC, and CBS only cover the convention starting at 10 ET, so they saw Michelle Obama, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders. Basically, all the nonsense happening beforehand wasn't on those broadcasts.

CNN confirms full roll call vote will happen. All 57 states and territories counted.

So I guess if the supers all change their minds at the last minute, Bernie is the nominee.

There's some uproar about an all-gender bathrooms at the DNC. I won't be so comfortable in an all gender bathroom.

So then don't go in that bathroom. Then you won't be uncomfortable. Problem solved.
