Hillary has been nominated? YESSSS!! REDEMPTION. REDEMPTION. The 2008 humiliation has been redeemed! That chapter is now, finally, closed. Now if she wins in November, it will be a life lesson in perseverance writ large in history. Smiley

Doesn't all the chicken littling seem ridiculous now? Tongue

Of course, I'll probably join you in chicken littling if Trump still holds a lead in a month...

I'm starting to think Dock Morris wanted Romney to win in 2012 so that it would be easier for Clinton to be elected this year.

Notice how 'lyin 'Lolo (I happened to meet her former Chief of Staff/ex-best friend and they call her Lolo in private) got right in next to Nancy as the picture was taken?

She's not even an important member of Congress. Just a camera hog who wants to add another title to her belt before she retires into obscurity in 2020. I had forgotten just how truly vile she is and was and will be.

Lois Frankel is a massive FF! I wish I could vote for her.
Dude, you ought to look into her time as Mayor of West Palm. She ran Palm Beach County as a whole despite only being Mayor of the largest city because she governed like a third world strongman, she's uber corrupt, and Alcee Hastings hates her after she ran a viciously racist campaign for Congress against him in 1992.

Hardly.  I'm not a Frankel fan, but Hastings was a corrupt schmuck who won that election by race-baiting.

I've already decided I should have voted for Sanders in the primary. I thought he was less electable, but that was wrong.

OK, that was mostly based on her political views and wanting to spite you. I'll look into her more.

If how someone looks is such a high standard for Republicans when it comes to politicians, it's no wonder why the party is such a horrible mess.

As of yesterday afternoon, I had already watched more speeches (2; Marcia Fudge and Elijah Cummings) in the DNC than I watched throughout the entirety of the train wreck we call the RNC last week (1; Ted Cruz).

Let me guess, the ADA needs to be repealed? It's just a burdensome, left wing regulation that holds down small business, right?

Most disabled people I know don't even like the ADA.

And most Republicans I know aren't voting Trump. Yet extrapolating on both of those will probably fail us.

Not really, it's just because they don't want want to be treated differently than non-disabled people.

The ADA is about assuring that disabled people don't get discriminated against and that they can be able to have access to resources. It's not about being treated differently, it's about being treated fairly.

Looks like some of the Bernie delegates walked out of the convention and took over the media tent.

I appreciated the "Bernie won all 55 counties" sign in the WV delegation.

Wish we could have had that sign in the Oregon delegation. Bernie won 35/36 counties and lost one County (Gilliam County) by one vote 101-100. There were two write-in votes for Bernie that weren't counted because of state rules... Sad
