problem is that any super-pac buying ads at this late stage is going to pay top dollar. The campaigns get the discount rate. This is why the CLinton Super PAC booked huge amounts months ago to lock in lower rates.  Any last minute Super PAC spend will probably cost many times as much as the same $ spent by Team Clinton. 

It will help for sure, but not nearly as much as $25m from Trump himself into his campaign. Again as recently as last week he was promising to drop another $45m into his campaign for the last few weeks but so far only committed to another $10m of that.

This is the same shady casino mogul who basically financed the RNC - which was a total disaster and saw Trump's support drop in the polls.  Sheldon Adelson knows nothing about electoral politics.  He thinks that if he can throw enough money at it, Americans will be stupid enough to elect his preferred candidate.  His history of political failure indicates otherwise.
