Yeah, very misleading.  He didn't call "jews" (I love how "jews" don't deserve the dignity of capitalization even in a title) termites.  He said illegal setters were like termites.  Not sure if I would have phrased it that way but the illegal settlements are pretty horrible.  Pretty common opinion amongst human beings.

Well a lot of times these comments are not heavily publicized so they either don't know, or lingering feelings because the Jews have been, and still are, oppressed and need to side with a party that has a reputation of aiding and lifting up the oppressed (Dems) no matter if that opinion is still valid in 2016.
