Anecdotally, it seems like most of my Bernie-supporting friends are somewhere in the Option 2-4 range, with one or two being around option five. I'm mostly asking to gage how many Bernie supporters have already made up their mind of who they are going to vote for, and how soft their support for whomever they're supporting now is.

Too Complicated, but lean Hillary but trump is the best candidate the republicans could have nominated, and the best nominee since Eisenhower. Don't like nor hate TRUMP and agree with a lot of what he says, but his selection of Mike Pence, with right-wing tea party orthodox platform, is pushing me to Hillary, and his outrageous statements makes me very cautious of him, but was previously willing to overlook the fact.

Didn't really like Sanders, but though he had a more populist, worker-friendly platform, and the Clinton 16' was just an identity-politics focus campaign. A lot of Sanders supporters were insane maniacs, and deranged, as was his campaign at the end, but I ultimately voted for Sanders, even if not particularly liking him, though a lot of his positions are iffy on him (GMO, abortion, NSA,), and his just meh anti-establishment tone is annoying.

Number two, I like Hillary and a lot of her policies, enough so that I will vote for her (and I also want to see Trump crushed in the national popular vote), though I do have some concerns.

Option 2, as "right wing" as I am.  I actually think Hillary is very well-intentioned.  My biggest gripes with her are certain policy disagreements rather than her character, but if she is elected, I think she'll easily be one of the most progressive presidents in the modern era rather than a reflection of her husband.  Despite my multiple frustrations and occasional episodes of paranoia, she's an independent thinker and she deserves a chance.  And if she ends up as accomplished as Obama is at the end of her term/s, I'll be glad to say I was with her.

(And yes, her stated commitment to keeping jobs here and fixing income inequality is why I'm confident in saying this. Tongue)

As much as I would want Clinton to win (and I, really, really want that - the alternative is simply too scary to even think about it), I would have much prefered you to go full GOP. You really belong there.

Uh, last I checked, you can't even be a member of the US Democratic Party unless you live in the US.  Ergo, this isn't your party, and you have no right to dictate who belongs in what party.  Stop embarrassing yourself.  I would expect better from an esteemed professor like yourself.

It isn't Smiley Actually, I am a PAN supporter (though not a member), only adopting a red avatar for this campaign season. My natural color is white-and-blue, or blanquiazul, as we say here Smiley

But I do hope that all the horrible types in the US gather in one party. Makes it more fun to hate Smiley

Split between 1-2, leaning towards 2. Could be pushed back to 1 by Thursday.

#NeverHillary. I won't lay down my principles for any candidate simply because they are the lesser of two evils.

I'd either vote for Hillary or vote for Gary Johnson. However, if I actually lived in a swing state, then I would almost certainly vote for Hillary in spite of my dislike of her.

Somewhere between #5-#6 (without the silly hashtags). I voted for #5.
