For the record, I hope that I didn't previously ask this question on this forum.

Anyway, though, how would the 2016 Republican primaries have looked if Donald Trump would have decided not to run in 2016?

Senator Ted Cruz - 30.3%, 18 states
Senator Marco Rubio - 23.7%, 9 states

Fmr. Gov. Jeb Bush: 4%
Sen. Rand Paul: 3%
All others: 3%

Cruz, Rubio, and Kasich are the only ones who stay in the race until the convention. A contested convention selects Cruz as the nominee.
