Some of this speech may come across as "boring" to "average Americans" (ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh) but she's making a strong case for herself, and getting in some good sound bytes.
In the end, that is what matters. Hence why I referenced the remotes clicking. My parents aren't watching, they'll hear what they need to hear on the Today Show tomorrow morning.

I mean, sure, some people may switch this off, and the media reception will be key, but perhaps some people will tune in during the more "electric" parts.
I don't know, how will they know when it gets good? Once I quit watching a speech, I quit watching.

She's starting to get up to her usual pace. As long as she doesn't start to yell or get too excited, she'll be fine.

Need to get all those small business owners in lots of ads this fall, internet and TV. Blast him for stiffing them and say he'll do it to the US too.

It's a matter of chance. It's completely up to when they tune in.

Better than sucker punching them and dragging them out of the rally and threating their lives and people like them with violence.

She started slow, but man she has been on a roll now.

I think that's an accurate assessment so far. She only got going at about 11 pm EDT after half an hour. That's when her litany of policy positions could start coming out, and that's her strength. Her speechwriters needed to get her to that point sooner., perhaps get to the acceptance at about minute 5 or 6, then get to policies by minute 15.

"A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons." That's a huge uppercut.

Very good line on Trump:

A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man who can be trusted with nuclear weapons.

And the best part is, that he can't respond to that in a tweet!

This speech is one that will be playing on C-Span for generations to come...not just because of the historic moment of who's giving it, but for the content and spirit of its message. One day we'll be asked where we were when we listened to this speech.
