I don't think this was on the schedule before, but Chris Murphy is speaking around 8.

Really all I see is Frank and Claire Underwood when I see the Clintons now.

The Underwoods are [at least according to the nonsensical rules that govern HoC's universe] highly skilled politicians. The Clintons are not.
I could see the argument for Hillary not being a skilled politician, but Bill is undeniably incredibly politically gifted.

He was pretty good in his prime, but he's mostly lost touch lately. Hillary was always mediocre and she's proving it every day.

Did you even watch his speech last night?

I didn't think this deserved it's own thread, but it was very humorous so I felt it needed to be posted.

Trump apparently mixed up Tim Kaine with Tom Kean:

OH MY GOD. @realDonaldTrump thinks Hillary chose Tom Kean for VP.

Trump referenced Tim Kaine doing a poor job "in New Jersey" twice before someone corrected him.

OK, sure, she's still leading by a point or two. I like my probability of a narcisistic pathological liar backed by a hostile, regressive, imperialistic autocracy becoming the leader of the country I live in to be lower than "slightly less likely than not".

I wouldn't consider it just slightly less likely than not. Closer to a 70-30 odds gap is where I think the race is at the moment.

Democrats beat the Republicans again in the ratings game.

Won't matter if they don't get a bump out of it. It's not how many people are watching, it's are the people you want to reach watching

Odds are you'll have a better chance of that though with 5 million more viewers.

Does Kaine give anyone else a Hubert Humphrey vibe?

Well he was born in Minnesota.

I think it'd be hilarious if Julian Castro switched places with Joaquin Castro so that he could speak at the DNC. No one would know the difference.

He hasn't gotten his...uh..."brief relaxation" in today. I'm sure a lovely girl from the Emperors Club VIP page is being jetted in as we speak.

You're just a delightful ball of fun aren't you.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We've still got 3+ months left.

Exactly, Democrats are going to have to work our butts off.
You're running against a man whose faults outweigh a very popular message. You shouldn't have to work your butts off, but you nominated a candidate who embodies the politics-as-usual that people are up in revolt about. Hence why Trump, Bernie, Johnson, and Stein are doing well while Jeb!, Hillary, Rubio, Kasich, and O'Malley flailed.
Not really Sanchez.  Hillary never failed, she is the nominee.  Bernie of course failed enormously, losing by a huge margin.  But facts don't really matter to you, do they?
Hillary literally won Iowa by a coin toss and got blown out of the water in New Hampshire after winning it in 2008. She never should have come under 65% of the vote. She won by 55%. The numbers don't lie, Jerry.

If by literally you mean not actually in a literal sense, then yes.
