Could Trump become the new Aaron Burr?

It really looks like things are heading in that direction.

Burr was never President. And US did not matter much to the rest of the world back then.

Trump will be much worse than Burr.

I doubt he'll get the chance to duel Hillary. Maybe Ted Cruz, but no way the Secret Service would let Donald point a gun at the President.

Aaron Burr was a famous politician, who was Vice President and had a real shot at the Presidency... who became extremely controversial, and ended up committing treason.

Obviously Trump is even less experienced than Burr, and would have even more power and tools... but he's just as dangerous, unpredictable, and possibly even also treasonous.

Nah, Trump doesn't understand the concept of "Talk less. Smile more."

He does, much like Aaron Burr did, blatantly change his policies for political convenience.

Hillary is no Alexander Hamilton though.

Aaron Burr was a very strong advocate of the rights of immigrants, so no.

No. Trump wouldn't have the spine to show up for an actual duel, nor do I think he could hit the broad side of a barn.

Doubt it, I don't think Jack Lew is in any imminent danger.
