Polls show a slight Clinton lead but most were taken before the RNC.

Unless a serious case of Virginia Senate 2014 happens, which is unlikely, no!

That poll from Clout is garbage. Clout is as junky a pollster as GQR (Carville, Dem hacks and company) is on the left.

Oregon = the New Jersey of the left coast. You can't pump your own gas and the state teases like a stripper on the pole.

Oregon is very much safe D. There's just not enough population in the consistently Republican areas to make the state competitive. Portland and its suburbs remain dominant.

While you can argue all you want over politics, numbers are numbers. You can't argue over them as much, but Clout is a terrible hackish pollster. They had the Indiana Republican primary as a tossup.

No, but it's possible Clinton fails to reach a majority here if third parties are strong enough.

Polls show a slight Clinton lead but most were taken before the RNC.

why not?
I predicted Oregon could be a swing state in 2016 since several months ago.

1. Even Liberal Nate Silver adjusted this poll as Hillary +5%
http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/oregon/

2. Outdated Poll (July 9-13). Stein only got 2.9%
Now far much more Sanders Supporters are leaning toward Jill Stein.
PPIC CA Poll(July 10-19) Jill Stein got 6%.
I'm sure Jill stein would do better in Oregon than CA.
Stein got in Election 2012, Oregon: 1.09% > California:  0.66%
(Nader got 5% in Oregon as Green Party Candidate.)

if Stein gets 5%ish it would be dead heat.
if Stein gets 7%+ in Oregon = TRUMP wins for sure.

There is absolutely nothing in Oregon that favors Trump.
