For all those who are so intent on keeping the entire south in one district, remember, we have regional senators now, we don't need the districts to make sense culturally.

We have never needed the districts to make sense culturally >P

Back when there were no regional senators I at least understood that argument, even if I disagreed with it. But with regional senators, it has no meaning now.

You can just use the map generator function Akno, you just have to know which bits of the code to play around with.

It wasn't much work copying it into paint and then uploading it to the internet. It also helps me to look at the map as I make it, which I can't do with the codes.

We have regions, we don't need the districts to be clones of them. Look for something new here, change is good.

Dark Red: 22
Green: 23
Gray: 22
Red: 24
Blue 24

That's using Ernest's numbers.

My map was meant to be a compromise that tried not to stick too closely to the regional map.  But ultimately, does anybody expect certain illogical members of the forum to allow the Southeastern states to be split up or grouped with the inferior Yankee states?  I'm surprised none of them have so far commented on me having to separate Texas from the rest of the South, due to population restrictions.

The Southeasterners who would complain about this only represent 1/5 of the voters on this issue. If all the other Governors consent, you can pass any map you want without the Southeast's consent, I believe.

23 each, after I move to Maine (which i'd do only to help redistricting)

I like this one, it changes things around a lot.

This looks cool.
Looks pretty damn stupid to me.
Why?

I understand that, but we have regional senators now, so districts don't have to be culturally perfect.

Well, it would create a PBrunsel-Cosmo Kramer race in August.  I'd like to keep all Senators, running for re-election, in seperate regions.

The more competitive races the better, IMHO. Why give Senators a free ride?

Do you think I want to compete for BRTD's vote?
Someone's gotta do it.

At least let a social liberal do it.
PBrunsel is a social liberal? There aren't many up for election near Minnesota, or anywhere for that matter.
