Donald Trump has once again stated that if he loses the election, his campaign will have been the single greatest waste of time, energy, and money. Despite leading a "movement" that involved tens of millions of Americans--beginning with a loss in the first primary contest and a plurality of the Republican primary vote, and that could perhaps end in a loss to one of the most distrusted political figures in the United States--his ultimate goal was simply to win. This further validates my decision to abandon him months ago...his interest was not in making this country great again for the working people, or to inspire a movement that would live on whether he won or lost, but to win and reap the power of the Presidency and avenge President Obama. It's unfortunate more of his supporters didn't realize he was conning them while looking out for #1 the entire time.

It's never been about a movement, or the people. Like everything else in Trump's life, it's always been about him. He takes his supporters for granted, and holds them in contempt. He has no love or respect for this beautiful political system, or the men and women who worked and died to create and preserve. Only himself.
