A few pages back I posted the list of 11 major (top 100) papers that endorsed the Republican in the last 3 elections.  As of now 5 out of 11 have endorsed (all for Clinton).

Endorsed Clinton
The Dallas Morning News
The Arizona Republic (Phoenix)
The San Diego Union-Tribune
The Cincinnati Enquirer
The Columbus (OH) Dispatch

Not Endorsed yet
New York Post
Las Vegas Review-Journal
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review
Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (Little Rock)
Investor’s Business Daily (Los Angeles)
Omaha World-Herald

If Trump is going to get any major newspaper endorsements, these are still his best shot.

So I guess I'll stick with noted tabloid New York Post as the one Trump endorsing paper.

A few more before the debate:

The Grand Junction (CO) Daily Sentinel called on Trump to step down but did not endorse another candidate.  Counting this as "Not Trump".  They endorsed Romney in 2012.  http://www.gjsentinel.com/opinion/articles/step-aside-donald

The rest are for Clinton:

Obama 2012:

Marin Independent Journal (San Rafael CA): http://www.marinij.com/article/NO/20161008/LOCAL1/161009828

Asbury Park (NJ) Press: http://www.app.com/story/opinion/editorials/2016/10/08/donald-trump-video-resign/91813602/

2012 endorsement unknown:

Cumberland (MD) Times-News: http://www.times-news.com/opinion/editorials/cumberland-times-news-why-we-have-decided-to-endorse-hillary/article_ddd2a2f0-1f67-5d4b-a21b-a50660e198c9.html

The Woodward (OK) News reprinted the Enid News & Eagle's endorsement with a note from the editors that they embraced its message: http://www.woodwardnews.net/opinion/guest-editorial-clinton-s-the-choice/article_a12eb6f0-8e44-11e6-bb94-2f245585d1e0.html

i seriously question whether the Trib would offer better for Hillary than anendorsement. The paper's late owner used his inherited Mellon fortune to by up suburban papers and turn it into a right wing rag. More importantly , considering he was the original sugar daddy of every Bill and Hillary conspiracy hunting outfit throughout the 90's, and further was known for such statements such as calling a liberal. Activist to her face a "communist c**nt", if he hadn't kicked off this mortal coil 2 years ago I'd give thhe Trib the secon highest chance of endorsing Trump after the Post.

One of those (Arkansas Democrat-Gazette) has just called for Trump to step down, saying he has zero chance of victory. It's safe to assume they will not endorse Trump.

If you're wondering why hardly any newspaper is endorsing Trump. Unlike most candidates, he has adopted an anti-media tone in his campaign. He has called journalists as dishonest as politicians at almost every rally.

Thus you're seeing the papers fight back by hardly ever endorsing him.

You're right. I tried finding one paper that would endorse him....nope.

Yeah, hate all the media all you want, but if you portray journalists as evil people don't expect a paper endorsement.

Heck if TV/Radio stations could endorse candidates, we'd the same result I bet.

For the first time ever, Jewish Week endorses a candidate: Hillary Clinton.  This paragraph is worth citing:

This newspaper has not endorsed political candidates in the past. But this election is an exception. It’s not just about politics. It’s about character, competence and compassion. It’s about values that are American, and rooted in the Bible: Seeing all men and women as created in the image of God, having empathy for “the other” among us, recognizing the power of community, building bridges rather than walls.

Will we get Trump antisemitic comments now?

Not really.  The SL Trib is pretty moderate and in 2012 endorsed Obama (and not Romney).  Unlike Deseret News, it has no direct ties to the LDS church.  But, it is the largest daily in UT.

This comes under the category of "Captain Obvious", but The Washington Post endorses Clinton.

This is probably their key paragraph:

Ms. Clinton, in other words, is dogged, resilient, purposeful and smart. Unlike Mr. Clinton or Mr. Bush when they ascended, she knows Washington; unlike Mr. Obama when he ascended, she has executive experience. She does not let her feelings get in the way of the job at hand. She is well positioned to get something done.

Christianity Today, the most prominent American evangelical magazine, legally cannot endorse with it's non-profit status. But it has harsh words for Hillary, and harsher words for Trump, throwing The Book at him and counseling Christians to not be enthusiastic for him:

Heck if TV/Radio stations could endorse candidates, we'd the same result I bet.

no, Trumpis simply in a deplorable class all his own.
