If Trump's doing as poorly with military members as a survey said he is, he'll certainly lose Virginia Beach, and that was my hunch before Kaine was picked.  The county I'm registered in (Rowan, NC) will go Republican no matter what.

Previously LA county would not.

Neither will Suffolk county, but the area where I'm living (well my family is) might.

Trump's doing poorly with military members .Polls I've seen point to the contrary.

This poll had Gary Johnson beating both of them.

Not sure about the polls above.  Did they only survey the guys that weren't captured? Wink

Ah Columbia County, NY might be interesting. Odds are Hillary will win it, but it's up in the air. Underneath its white gentry veneer, many of whom vote in NYC, it's packed with working class whites, many of whom are not well educated. Trump will be beaten to a pulp in Hudson of course.

No chance....that's what he's got.  And my county actually matters, it's most of a single electoral college vote, that IS in play (Obama got it in 08)....at least would be if the GOP wasn't full of dummies.

Er Romney won it, and even in 2008 Obama only got about 51.5% there. Of course with the current polling numbers and state of the race that would mean that Trump is probably more likely to lose it than win it, but "no chance" is sadly not the case.
You're probably a lot more right than I'd want to admit.

DuPage County, IL: No, at historicall margins for Democrats.
Ottawa County, MI: Yes, but I predict under 60%, which is historically low for republicans.

Hillary's biggest problem in NE-2 is redistricting.  The geography of the district suggests she'll lose, but then it does have a Democratic congressman...

My county (Warren County, NJ) has gone Republican since Lyndon B. Johnson so I'll be surprised if Trump doesn't carry it.

No, but for Norbert Hofer (FPÖ) - with around 60% (if the current polls are accurate).

The county already voted for Hofer with 58% in the first runoff.

Duval, FL is a really close one. If Trump wins Florida my county will be one of the places he needs the votes. I haven't seen any enthusiasm for him here but since it hasn't been won by the Dems in years I'll say Trump wins it 48-47.5.

No, my current county (Johnson, IA) would vote for a serial rapist if he or she had that D next to the name.

I hope not. It's been trending D lately, but I think i it's a tossup this time. With the main urban area (Watertown) likely D, and the rural areas safe R.

Franklin County, OH, voted 61/38 Obama in 2012. It can swing for the right Republican -- it voted 49/47 Portman in 2010 and 56/40 Kasich in 2014 -- but Trump is the opposite of that. I don't expect him to break 35.

Leon County will go strongly for Clinton, though the surrounding counties in the panhandle will probably see Trump win by solid numbers.

Do you think Jefferson county right next to it will finally vote for Trump, the first Republican since '88? I would think so.

Dakota County, MN - Trump has a shot, it was only a narrow Obama '12 win.

Story County, IA (college residence) - LOL NO, Braley carried the county.
