It might, but probably not since it's too close to Austin/Travis.

Hillary Clinton 63.13%
Donald Trump 28.20%

So not only did it not but Trump did significantly worse than Goldwater in 1964 and Bush in 1992 when a third party sucked away good percentage. This is at least the worst showing for a Republican here since WWII.

That's because we're a civilized county where most people aren't bigoted trash.

Clinton/Kaine - 62.31%
Trumpence - 32.90%
Johnson/Weld - 3.26%
Write-ins - 1.53%
Best result for Dems since as early back as I can go (1960).
For comparison, NC-GOV:
Cooper - 63.29%
McCrory - 34.17%
Cecil - 2.56%
Best result for Dems since 1980.
and NC-SEN:
Ross - 59.29%
Burr - 37.04%
Haugh - 3.67%
Not as impressive, but best result for Dems since 2008.

Tulsa County, 2016
58% Trump
36% Clinton

Trump did 6 points worse than Romney did and 4 points worse than McCain did. The worst Republican performance in Tulsa County since at least 1992, and I don't think Tulsa has ever gone this far for a Democrat compared to Oklahoma as a whole EVER (I mean seriously, Tulsa voted for Goldwater even as the state as a whole voted for Johnson).

Of course Tulsa didn't swing as heavy as Oklahoma County, where I suspect next election the Democrats will actually win.

As i predicted yes it went for Trump

Volusia county:
Trump - 55%
Clinton - 42%
Johnson - 2%
Stein - 1%

Trump heavily improved on Romney's numbers here and this county used to be a Democratic one

Why would incumbent Trump do worse there than 2016 Trump?...

Duval, FL is a really close one. If Trump wins Florida my county will be one of the places he needs the votes. I haven't seen any enthusiasm for him here but since it hasn't been won by the Dems in years I'll say Trump wins it 48-47.5.

I was right on the money for at least ONE Florida thing this election. Trump won Duval County 49-47.5.

Because they'll experience how awful President Trump is, but more seriously the demographics of Oklahoma County are becoming more and more diverse.
