What would the 2008 Democratic primaries have looked like if Al Gore would have won the U.S. Presidency in both 2000 and 2004?

Does incumbent VP Joe Lieberman choose not to run in 2008 in this scenario? If so, why exactly?

Why doesn't Hillary Clinton run in 2008 in this scenario, though?

I'd assume that Clinton-Gore-Clinton isn't very appealing, and Vice President Lieberman crowds her out.

Isn't Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton even less appealing, though?

For the reason above? Indeed, wouldn't Hillary Clinton solidly--if not overwhelmingly--win the Black vote in the 2008 Democratic primaries in this scenario if she will choose to run?

I was assuming a Southern black man would run, since Obama probably wouldn't, and that would keep her out of the black vote. Nagin is a placeholder for that.

It would depend on Gore's popularity and approval ratings, job approval, etc.
